Dr Liam Rath

General Information
Dr Rath is the principal and owner of the practice with over 30 years of experience serving the Strathpine community. He graduated in 2021 with a Master in Skin Cancer and is actively developing his expertise in skin treatments. His comprehensive approach to general practice combines years of experience with continuing education in specialised areas. Outside of medicine, Dr Rath is a father of 4 children and maintains an active lifestyle through gym workouts, yoga, and trekking. He also enjoys good food and cinema.

Dr James Biggs

General Information
Dr James Biggs graduated from The University of Queensland in 2014. Before working in General Practice, Dr. James spent eight years working in hospitals, initially as a Medical Registrar and later as an Intensive Care Registrar. Throughout this period, he gained experience in various tertiary hospitals across South Australia, Toowoomba, and Brisbane. Dr James is passionate about holistic healthcare, and empowering clients to help them achieve their best selves. He enjoys all areas of General Practice; his special interests include preventative/lifestyle medicine, as well as the management of chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and respiratory conditions. Outside of work, Dr James enjoys spending time with his young family, travelling and playing tennis.

Dr Carlee Grice

General Information
Dr Grice graduated from UQ in 2008 and completed her FRACGP in 2008. She brings extensive experience in antenatal care, paediatrics, and chronic disease management, including hypertension, diabetes, and asthma. She performs specialised procedures including implanon insertion/removal and iron infusions. As a mother of three young girls, she brings a personal understanding to family healthcare while maintaining a dynamic part-time practice.

Dr Sudath Ihalawaththa

General Information
Dr Sudath completed his medical degree at the University of Colombo before migrating to Australia in 2009. He brings extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, having completed his training with the Royal Australasian College of Emergency Medicine in 2022. His decade of experience includes work at major hospitals including RBWH, TPCH, Greenslopes Private Hospital, and emergency retrieval services. He provides comprehensive family care with expertise in emergency medicine, women's health, and pediatrics. Outside of medicine, Dr Sudath enjoys traveling, cycling, cricket, and spending time with family.

Dr Maya Venkatesh

General Information
Dr Venkatesh has been practising in Brisbane since 1999, bringing over two decades of expertise in general practice. After graduating in India in 1988, she completed specialised ENT training in the UK, earning a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. She obtained her FRACGP in 2000 and offers specialised ENT care using the practice's operating microscope. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and family time. Languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Konkani

Dr Asiye Doxanakis
B.Med, MPH, FRACGP

General Information
Dr Doxanakis (Sia) completed her medical degree at the University of Newcastle in 1996. Her diverse experience includes general surgical training at major hospitals and a decade at The Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne, where she specialised in obstetrics, gynaecology, and emergency medicine. She holds a Master's in Public Health and joined Brendale Medical Centre in 2012, where she completed her FRACGP. Her practice is enriched by experience at the Yuli Burri Ba Aboriginal Clinic.

Dr Jesse Hunt

General Information
Dr Hunt completed medical school at the University of Queensland in 2015. He has worked for Queensland Health at the Prince Charles, Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals across a variety of specialties. He relocated to the United Kingdom in 2018 where he worked in several teaching hospitals within the National Health Service, including through the COVID-19 pandemic, before returning to Australia in 2023. He has completed the Sydney Child Health Program and has a continued interest in family medicine and preventative healthcare. In his spare time he enjoys barbecuing, woodworking and travelling.
